SKILLS THAT LAST A LIFETIME
Through solving aYtaech Challenge, students learn invaluable life skills as they navigate the creative process—a powerful learning tool that teaches them how to think, not what to think.
Early learners are naturally curious and can adapt well to learn new concepts.Students can express their creativity, learn simple building and construction, become comfortable working in teams, and learn how to speak in front of an audience.Students learn to focus, take risks, reflect on what they’ve learned, and grow from failure.
Participants improve in collaboration, problem solving, and creative and critical thinking. Students have fun and build friendships that can last a lifetime.
TIPS FOR PARENTS
Understand the Rules of Interference. YTEACH Challenges are all about allowing students to create on their own without help from any adults or non-team members.
Share your skills! Learning new skills is a big part of the YTEACH process and can help teams in solving a Challenge. Parents are encouraged to share their skills and talents with their team. YTEACH is a volunteer-run organization. Without our amazing volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to develop Challenges.
Help us as a Co-Team Member. One of the biggest gifts you can give is to become a co-Team Member. By having more than one Team Member, you can split up some of the work andalleviate some of the pressure.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Your Teacher’s Classroomis a volunteer-run organization, so we depend heavily on the efforts and energy of our volunteers surrounding us.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
YTEACH receives support from 50 volunteers from north and north-west Delhi. Their passion for the YTEACH Challenge Program strengthens and grows our community and allows an increasing number of students to participate each year.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
YTEACH is seeking new volunteers to help equip students with the skills needed to fuel the economies of tomorrow. We are seeking support from individuals with interests in web design, marketing, fundraising, recruiting, training, social media, event coordination and more.
